Tumu, a small town in the Upper West Region of northern Ghana, is the capital of the Sissala East district and is situated adjacent to the border with Burkina Faso. It is connected to Navrongo by road. Tumu is also the nearest town to the Gbele Resource Centre, the fourth largest reserve in Ghana.
