Kintampo is a town located in the Bono East Region of Ghana, known for its popularity as a tourist destination. In 2004, it became the capital of the Kintampo North Municipal. With a population of 111,000, Kintampo is also recognized as the former capital of the Kintampo District. The town is home to a Senior High School, which is situated in Kyeremankoma.
