Ejisu is a municipality located approximately 20 km from Kumasi along the Kumasi-Accra highway. It serves as the capital of the Ejisu Municipal Assembly in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, which is one of the 30 administrative and political districts established by Legislative Instrument (L.I) 1890.
