Asikuma/Odoben/Brakwa District is among the twenty-two districts in the Central Region of Ghana. It was established as an ordinary district assembly in 1988, and its creation was based on the division of the Breman-Ajumako-Enyan District Council, which existed from 1974 to 1978. The district assembly is situated in the northeastern part of the Central Region, with Breman Asikuma serving as its capital town.
